Every girl needs a pocket pirate
She stands just 3 1/2 inches tall.

BODY: (Join at end of each row)
With red yarn

row 1: work 6 sc into second ch from hook (6 sc total) join to first sc
row 2: ch 1 work 2 sc in esch sc all around (12 sc) join
row 3: ch 1 work 1 sc in next sc , 2 sc in next sc around (18 sc) join
row 4: ch 1 work 1 sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24 sc) join
row 5 - 7: ch 1 work 1 sc in each sc around, join
Join Black yarn
row 8-9: ch 1 work 1 sc in each sc around, join
Join white yarn
row 10: ch 1 work 1 sc in each sc around, join
Join black yarn
row 11: ch 1 work 1 sc in each sc around, join
Join white yarn
row 12: ch 1 work 1 sc in each sc around, join
Join black yarn
row 13: ch 1 work 1 sc in each sc around, join
Join Flesh colored yarn
row 14-17: ch 1 work 1 sc in each sc around, join
row 18: ch 1 work 1 sc in next 2 sc, work sc dec in next 2 sc around, join
row 19: ch 1 work 1 sc in next sc, work sc dec in next 2 sc around, join

Close hole
Embroider on face
attach hair as desired

secure to head scarf with slp st
ch 5 , work back up ch working 1 sc in each of the next 4 sc starting at the second ch from hook
secure to head scarf with slp st
F/O
leave a long tail
sew head scarf to head with tail
You now have a pocket pirate
